Utility Pole, we developed a scalable platform for managing utility pole infrastructure sharing between telecom companies, distributors, and administrators. We built a role-based system where occupants can create requests, distributors can review them, and admins can monitor the entire workflow. Our team implemented an advanced dashboard with filtering, reporting, and real-time request tracking. We integrated AI/ML models using YOLOv5 to detect utility poles and classify telecom and electricity wires from Google Street View images. Additionally, we developed a system to extract and process geospatial data using Google Maps API with high accuracy. We ensured high performance and scalability by using Node.js, Python, MySQL, and Redis queues for handling large datasets and background processing. We also implemented secure authentication, multi-role access control, and request lifecycle management. Overall, our work focused on building a high-performance, intelligent, and data-driven solution for infrastructure management and regulatory compliance.
